This year, there are some changes to get the IIT admission. Candidates must have minimum 10% marks in each of the three subjects - maths, physics and chemistry and a minimum aggregate of 35% to figure on the common rank list. Till the last year IIT Exam the minimum qualifying marks in IIT-JEE were worked out after calculating the average of the marks scored by all the candidates who wrote the exam.
