Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET) is the first step in the process of seeking admission to the 2-Year full time Post-Graduate Degree Programs in Management offered by the IIT & IISc. Currently IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee are offering such Programs in Management. The IITs and IISc use the results of JMET to short-list the candidates for subsequent part of the selection process.
JMET is only a qualifying examination to seek admission. It is not mandatory that all candidates who are declared as qualified will be called for Group Discussion / Interview etc. Calling the candidates for such later process of selection is the prerogative of the admitting Institute. |
