About FMS Delhi
FMS Delhi is one of the premier business schools in Delhi. Affiliated to the Delhi University, FMS Delhi offers a strong base for management education. FMS Delhi Placement Procedure
FMS Delhi has an impressive track record that shows 100% placements for all its candidates over the last couple of years. The carefully constructed placement procedure of FMS Delhi ensures that students are given ample opportunity and options so that they can ensure their selection into a company of their choice.
The Lateral Placements programs are conducted by FMS Delhi usually in the month of December. The programs are aimed for the benefit of students who have work experience prior to their MBA's. These programs help the experienced candidates ensnare a job suited to their requirements and abilities. The second stage of placements takes place usually in the month of February. This is the final placement stage.
FMS Delhi Placements Record
FMS Delhi has enjoyed a highly impressive placement track record for the last couple of years. The institute is popular in the corporate world and had brought in a large number of corporate organizations from all parts of the country and abroad. In the year 2005, FMS Delhi produced 89 graduates. FMS Delhi attained the 100% placement mark in 200 without any trouble.
A total of 22 candidates were provided Pre Placement Offers (PPO). The institute records also show that 18 candidates were placed through lateral offers. A total of 180 offers were made to 89 candidates of the 2005 FMS Delhi batch.
In the year 2006, a total of 124 candidates were provided opportunities for campus placements in FMS Delhi. This was a record in the history of the institute. Around 94 companies confirmed their participation in the recruitment procedure of the institute.
In 2007, FMS Delhi provided placement opportunities to 93 MBA students and 40 MBA-MS (Management of Services) students. A total of 27 and 7 Pre Placement Offers (PPO) were made to MBA and MBA-MS candidates respectively. 31 candidates got through the lateral placements. In total 138 offers were made to MBA students and 65 offers were made to MBA-MS students.
Major Placement Organizations at FMS Delhi
FMS Delhi Placements attract a number of major companies. Some of the main organizations that attend the FMS Delhi Placements are Deutsche Bank, Dell, IDFC, HSBC, ICICI Prudential, Yes Bank, Bharti Airtel Ltd, SAP VE, Cognizant Technology Solutions, IBM, GE, Deloitte and the Essar Group. Some of the new companies that have recently started coming to FMS Delhi for recruitment include names such as J P Morgan, Dell, ATOS Origin, CTS, IDFC and Vedanta Resources Plc.
