Common Admission Test, also commonly referred to as CAT results, is the stepping stone for MBA aspirants to get admitted in many of the reputed management schools in India. It is conducted by Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) for the admission to various levels of management courses like MBA, PGDM et al. Apart from the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) located at Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Bangalore, Calcutta, Indore, and Kozhikode, CAT Results 2010 is also a mandatory entrance examination for several other leading institutes like Mudra Institute of Communication (MICA) Ahmedabad, Kirloskar Institute of Management, Nirma Institute of Management, S.P. Jain Institute, TAPAI and few others. Please ensure that you have your CAT data like CAT Registration Number and E-mail address exactly as supplied during CAT registration, as it appears on your Admit card handy to get back your CAT 2009 scorecard. Management education improves the managerial skills by the sharing of ideas, acceptance of others’ ideas and many other healthy discussions.

Learning from other approaches has to come with active participation in a group of people and it happens in the Management Courses. Faculty and other students form an important part of the learning process. CAT Exam Result will be announced shortly by the council. CAT IIM Results would carry the list of the shortlisted candidates and qualifying candidates will be called for the GD as well as PI rounds. Result of CAT 2012 is the key for an MBA from top Business Schools in India like IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Indore, IIM Kozhikode, IIM Ranchi, IIM Lucknow, and IIM Shillong.

Common Admission Test (CAT) results are slated to be released by the third week of February but have been delayed again. CAT Exam result for the exams which went online for the first time, was marked by several glitches and there were few retests as well. So the delay in publication of results has come for a lot of candidates. Almost 2.5 lakh students have taken the test for which the CAT results 2010 are awaited and that is a gateway to not just the IIMs but close to 80 other B-schools that select candidates on the basis of scores in this entrance test. Result of CAT 2012 will be available on the CAT Result Website- www.catiim.in from 22 January. Candidates must also try to keep a print-out of their score card of their respective CAT results 2010 and CAT IIM Results.
