Based on the UPSC Results of the written part of Civil Services Examination of 2010, held by the Union Public Service Commission in October-November, 2010 and the interviews for Personality Test held in March-April, 2011, the following is the list, in order of merit, of candidates who have been recommended for appointment to after UPSC Result 2010- Indian Administrative Service; Indian Foreign Service; Indian Police Service; and Central Services, Group 'A' and Group 'B'. A total number of 920 candidates have been recommended for appointment including 428 General, 270 Other Backward Classes, 148 Scheduled Castes and 74 Scheduled Tribes candidates. UPSC has also set up a full fledged 'Facilitation Courter' near Examination Hall Building in its campus for every thing related to UPSC Nda Result and UPSC Result 2012.
One can obtain any information/ clarification regarding their examinations / recruitments on the working days between 10 AM to 5 PM in person or over telephone Nos. 23385271 / 23381125 / 23098543. Results UPSC will also be available on the UPSC's Website www.upsc.gov.in. However, marks are likely to be available on the website with in 15 days from the date of declaration of UPSC Exam UPSC as well as UPSC Cpf Result. Chennai based law graduate S Divyadharshini topped the prestigious Result of UPSC Civil Services Examination. The second position was also secured by a woman, Sweta Mohanty who is a computer engineer.
After UPSC Results A total of 920 candidates, including 203 women, have been selected for the Civil Services, which attracts the largest number of candidates from all over the country. A total number of 5.5 lakh candidates applied for the examination and 2.5 lakh candidates appeared for Preliminary examination. Just over 12,000 candidates qualified for the main written examination held in October- November. Out of them, just 2500 candidates were shortlisted for the personality test conducted in March-April this year out of which 920 were selected. Currently, there are 150 vacancies in IAS, 35 vacancies in IFS and 150 in IPS. Since the IAS exams are held in phases and you proceed to the next phase only after clearing the first or the previous exam, there are three UPSC Result 2012 and UPSC Nda Result that come out before one is chosen. The first UPSC Cpf Result declared is of the prelims. Then comes the Results UPSC for mains written paper, finally the UPSC Exam UPSC as well as UPSC Result 2012 which are a combination of the written as well as the interview test.
